Born in Washington, D.C., Rev. Thomas E. Cunningham was raised in a God-fearing home with two brothers and four sisters. His father is a Minister and his mother is an Evangelist. At the age of 13, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior.
In 1991, Rev. Cunningham recognized God's call on his life and his call to the ministry. He is the founder of Men At Work, a Brotherhood Ministry, The Coffee House, a Woman's Ministry and The Club House, a Children's Ministry. Rev.Cunningham's passion is evangelism and educating saints. His book ministry has donated thousands of dollars in books in the MD, DC,VA area, as well as South America and Africa. Rev.Cunningham studied religion at Washington Bible College. He has an Associates degree in Religious Education and is now completing his Bachelors of Theology degree.
In September 2001, Rev. Cunningham founded T.C. Community Development Services, Inc., a non-profit charitable organization designed specifically to provide developmental programs in areas where the need is the greatest. In August 2004, he founded and is the Pastor of Hear The Word Bible Church, a non-denominational house of worship where he preaches, teaches, and ministers the love of Jesus Christ to any and all individuals who have an earnest desire to worship God for who He is.
Rev. Cunningham now feels that God is enlarging his territory, thus preparing him for a great ministry. His favorite scripture is:
This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners whom I am chief. However, for this reason, I obtained mercy that in me first, Jesus might show long suffering as a pattern to those who are going to believe on him for everlasting life. (1 Timothy 1:15-16)
Rev. Cunningham is the proud father of a 14 year old daughter named Daria who is the love of his life.
